Myles Cooley, Ph.D., ABPP has been practicing psychology in northern Palm Beach County for 30 years. He is one of only 3% of psychologists in the United States to be Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Cooley received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University at Albany, State University of New York in 1974. His M.A. and B.A. degrees in psychology were awarded by Bucknell University. Dr. Cooley evaluates and treats children, adolescents and adults for a variety of problems. He specializes in the evaluation of Attention Deficit Disorder, learning disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders. He also conducts evaluations for student placement in private schools and the public school’s gifted program.
Dr. Cooley is a member of the American Psychological Association, Florida Psychological Association, Children & Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD), International Dyslexia Association, and the Learning Disability Association of America & Florida.
Dr. Cooley serves as a consultant to several private schools and has presented educational programs to educators, mental health professionals, physicians, and parents on various topics. He has also published several articles on learning disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorder. His book, Teaching Kids with Mental Health and Learning Disorders in the Regular Classroom was published by Free Spirit Publishing in 2007.
